How often will my carer visit me at home, and how long will they stay for?
You are in control of your own care plan, and will be able to discuss the amount and frequency of support you are looking for when a member of the team visits you to complete your care assessment. Our teams work 7 days a week, 365 days a year, and visits are generally carried out between the hours of 7am and 10pm. We may be able to provide a sit-in service outside of these hours if this is required. Depending upon the type of support you need, our carers will usually visit you in blocks of 30, 45 or 60 minutes, at pre-arranged times on the days indicated in your care plan.
Our home care packages are flexible, so if you need to make temporary or long-term changes to your visit times to fit around appointments, meet any changes to your care needs, or accommodate any changes in your personal circumstances, we will always be happy to support you with this provided that we have availability to do so.
