This time of year can be a reminder to some of us just how much we need a break – that includes carers, and those they care for.
That‘s why we would like to kickstart the New Year with a special offer on respite breaks at selected homes this winter.
We would like to extend our warm hospitality to those who book a respite stay with us, by offering two additional days as a welcome gift to you. *
Our respite breaks come complete with all the specialist care and support you need to stay safe and well, when you stay for a week or more before the end of March 2024.
What is included:
We encourage you to treat your chosen care home like it’s your own home for the duration of your stay. We will treat you as one of our own residents, aiming to make you feel as comfortable as possible, with tailored respite care and dementia support to cater to your individual needs.
You have freedom as to how you spend your time; you’re welcome to use all the facilities and to join in the home’s planned activities and events. All your meals are included, using high-quality ingredients, lovingly cooked in-house by our chefs, to meet your dietary requirements and preferences.
Facilities also include:
- A fully furnished, well-equipped room, which you can personalise to feel at home;
- All of your meals, drinks and snacks (tailored to meet your preferences and dietary requirements);
- 24/7 Individual care and support including help with medication and personal care;
- Full use of all the home’s indoor and outdoor communal areas, gardens and facilities;
- A warm welcome from any visitors you may like to invite;
- Utilities, linen, laundry housekeeping and cleaning.

This special respite break offer only applies to stays booked before the 31st March 2024, in the following homes:

- Pulsford Lodge, Wiveliscombe

- Southlawns, Street
- Sunnymeade, Chard

What are the terms and conditions?
To qualify for two free days during your stay, all you need to do is make a new respite booking of 7 consecutive days or more at participating Somerset Care residential homes, where your full stay takes place before 31st March 2024.
Bookings must be made by calling 0800 8174 990, or emailing [email protected].
We regret that this offer cannot be applied to existing bookings, those of less than 7 days, those at alternative Somerset Care settings not participating in this offer, or those occurring outside of the date range specified above.
Your two free days will be discounted from your valid respite stay at the time of booking, and cannot be ‘banked’ or transferred to another stay or a different location.
This offer is not valid at other Somerset Care settings, and cannot be used for other services offered by Somerset Care, Realise the Halcon Centre or our community teams.
This offer is subject to availability, and redeemable on a ‘first-come, first-served’ basis. We reserve the right to amend, alter or withdraw this offer at any time.
