You're in safe hands

With the announcement of a national lockdown on 4th January 2021, we will be unable to support internal visits with the use of rapid tests, in line with government guidance. Visits within our designated visitor suites can continue as normal however, and should be booked in the usual way. End of Life and essential visits will be facilitated as per government guidance. With the commencement of vaccination programmes in our Care Homes we will be reviewing this situation in line with advice from Public Health England and will welcome you back in to our homes with rapid tests as soon as it is safe to do so.

Gender Pay Gap Report – April 2019

Somerset Care Group are a not-for-profit care provider, which means that we do not have any shareholders, so any money we make is reinvested into our business for the benefit of our customers, clients and residents, who are at the heart of everything that we do.

This means that our employees and culture is so important to us.

We recently developed a new mission statement, vision and values for Somerset Care. These values were developed through meetings with staff across the whole business and outline what is important to all of us, and describe how we want to work with our colleagues, customers and their families, suppliers, regulators and other stakeholders. Our values are a big part of what makes the Somerset Care Group such a caring and professional organisation.

Our mission statement -We support people to live the life they choose.

Our vision - We aim to be the care provider of choice - when people think of excellent care, they think of the Somerset Care Group.
