What the introduction of Tier 4 means for care homes visits
Following the government’s announcement on the 19th December 2020 and the introduction of Tier 4, it is with regret that we will not be supporting indoor visits for families who decide to travel from these areas. We would encourage you not to visit from a Tier 4 area so that we can maintain the safety of our residents and staff, but will continue to facilitate essential and end of life visits with a robust risk assessment. You can find out what tier you are in by entering your postcode into the government website here. Further government guidance on Tier 4 is available here.
We recognise that you are extremely important to our residents and will be reviewing this policy as more information is available. In the interim we are still able to support with virtual visits and calls. You can connect with residents through the wonders of technology, with Skype, FaceTime, WhatsApp calls etc. available. We have invested in other technologies, such as Relsapp, which allows residents to communicate through calls, messages, pictures, videos and music.
Should you need assistance with setting up a video call, please contact [email protected] and we will be more than happy to help you.
For more information on all the ways you can stay connected with your loved ones in our care, please see the latest guidance on visiting, here.

Thank you for respecting our rules.
