Calway House residents are 'supported to have maximum choice and control of their lives', according to the home's latest Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspection.
The CQC report, which rated Calway House in Taunton as 'Good', went on to praise the personalised care offered to the home's residents, the home's 'happy atmosphere' and the support in place for the staff team. The CQC also noted that the home is 'well maintained and safe', and that staff 'followed up to date guidance on infection prevention and control', something which has never been more important.
Sue Harvey, Manager of Calway House, expressed her delight at the report's findings:
"I'm so very proud to lead this amazing team who have worked tirelessly over the last very challenging year to achieve this outcome. They always put our residents at the forefront of all they do. Thank you Team Calway."
