Covid-19 - update 8.05.20

We would like to thank everyone for your support and understanding throughout this unsettling period.  We understand how hard it is to not be able to visit your relatives and friends in our homes, and we appreciate the natural worry and concern this causes.

We want to be able to welcome everyone back into our homes as soon as possible, but we have to do this in a safe and managed way. As always, the safety and well-being of all of our residents and staff has to be our priority.

We understand that the government is looking at lifting the lockdown through a phased process, and so we have also started to look at how we can reopen our homes safely once this is appropriate.  At the moment, we anticipate that this will mean limiting the duration and frequency of  visits in the first stages, with restrictions in place.

We will be sharing more information on this as we receive confirmation on the timescales involved in lifting the lockdown.

In the meantime, we would like to take this opportunity to remind you that, while you can’t visit in person, our homes would be more than happy to arrange video calls to our residents through Skype and Messenger.   For more information regarding Skype video-calling please click here, and should you need any assistance in setting up a Skype account to enable this, please email us on [email protected] and we will be happy to help.
