About our Home Care

Our home care service is designed to support you to live the life you choose, helping you to remain as independent as possible, for as long as possible. Stay safe, healthy and happy at home with our support.

Intro

All care is tailored to you and your individual needs, no matter how complex they may be.

We work closely with external experts, such as health practitioners and district nurses, and have built up a brilliant rapport with them in the 30+ years we’ve been operating.

With independence and person-centred care being some of the key advantages to home care, other benefits include living in your comfortable, familiar surroundings, building confidence, the cost of care, family participation and being able to maintain relationships with family and friends.

We understand that knowing when and how to get help can be overwhelming. With a dedicated team of specialists available to guide you every step of the way, with a holistic overview into all levels of care and needs, we can hold your hand in establishing the most suitable course for you.

Perhaps you fall into one of the following categories, in which case, we can help you:

I want to stay independent in my home

Our specialist community teams across Somerset, Wiltshire, Devon and B&NES can help you to keep doing the things that matter to you, in the home you love. From everyday practical support to taking care of your wellbeing, we know it’s the little things that make a big difference.

I still want my own front door

We work with local authorities and partners to deliver expert care to our assisted living customers. We know how important it is to balance independent living with the care and support you need to feel confident and comfortable behind your own front door, and we’re here to help.

I have a complex health condition and need help to manage it

Whether you are living with a long-term health condition, or planning your return from a stay in hospital, we can help. We can support you in taking your medication, collecting prescriptions, attending appointments and managing your personal care and rehabilitation.

I’m not as mobile as I used to be, but I still want to get out and about

We can help you to keep doing the things you love around your own home and out and about in the community. From help to get out of bed in the morning, to maintaining your hobbies and interests and attending events, we can support you to live a rich and fulfilling life.

I need a bit of help around the house

We all need a helping hand sometimes, and that’s where we come in. We can help you with food shopping and mealtimes, household chores such as cleaning, laundry and gardening, and help you to feel in control of your ‘to do’ list.

I need some company

We believe in the power of a good chat over a cuppa and know how lonely it can feel if you aren’t able to see loved ones very often. We’re here for you whether you want us to pop the kettle on or keep you company when you are out and about.

I want to have peace of mind

We are here to support and reassure you, as much or as little as you need. We want you to feel confident and comfortable to live the life you choose at home, so we’ll do what it takes to help you feel safe and secure. Whether you need night-time support, help with personal care, or just to know that there is someone you can call on if you need them, we are here for you.
