Extra Care Housing offers the chance to live independently in your own home, whilst having the security and reassurance of ready access to staff when you need it.
Some schemes have staff living on site; others have a combination of visiting staff from home care services and emergency alarm systems. Facilities in the extra housing communities vary slightly. All will have communal lounges, some offering laundry services, hairdressing even a restaurant or shop.
