Welcome to Langham Court
Langham Court is the first of the Somerset Care Group’s extra and close care housing developments.
Langham Court is a close care development, because it is located within the grounds of a care home (Inver House). This exclusive development of just 11 one and two bedroom apartments is conveniently located in the town of Bembridge on the Isle of Wight. It has eight one and three two-bedroom apartments.
Langham Court gets its name from the Langham lifeboat, which was in service on the Island between 1922 and 1939. The apartments will be ready for occupation in late summer 2009, in the 70th anniversary year of the end of the Langham’s period of service.
About Bembridge
Bembridge is situated in the East of the Isle of Wight, and is the largest village in England. It is well served for doctor’s surgeries, a post office, shops, schools and churches. It has a thriving and active community, with numerous clubs and associations such as the Townswomen’s Guild and Women’s Institute.
The Apartments
Most of the 11 spacious apartments have large bay windows and patio doors onto balconies or terraces. All apartments are designed for wheelchair access throughout, with wider doorways and hallways.
