Somerset Care has six homes providing high-level nursing care to residents, often on a short-term basis. Our nursing staff, supported by a team of health care assistants, make a positive difference to the lives of our residents.

In addition we have recently secured a community nursing contract in North Somerset, enabling nurses and health care assistants the opportunity to utilise their skills in people’s own homes.  

Somerset Care is seeking a number of qualified nurses to join the professional senior nursing team with Somerset Care. You will provide clinical skills and management leadership to the larger staff group, and in return we can offer the following:

• Perceptorship scheme for newly qualified nurses (dependant on availability)
• Career Pathways to senior management roles within our nursing homes
• Ongoing professional training opportunities/maintaining CPD by updating and improving clinical skills
• Opportunities to make great relationships with residents, GP’s, other social care professionals and of course, families
