Somerset Care is one the largest not-for-profit employers in Somerset.
We provide:
- Residential and nursing care to over 1,100 older people in 26 homes in Somerset and 1 in Gloucestershire
- Over 33,000 hours of community care each week to our 4,000 clients
- Residential care in 4 homes for older people, and 12 group homes and domiciliary support for people with learning difficulties on the Isle of Wight
- Training (including NVQ courses) to 250 client companies.
We currently employ over 3,500 people to deliver our care and training services, making us the largest independent sector employer in Somerset. We are enjoying a period of tremendous growth and therefore require a number of new staff to fulfil a variety of roles in our homes, community care bases, training company, and central office.
