Staff from Somerset Care’s Sedgemoor office celebrated last
Monday as their colleague Eileen Haysham turned 80 on 23rd June. Eileen is
Somerset Care’s longest serving staff member from the Sedgemoor community base,
and was awarded a long service award for 45 years service at the company’s
awards ceremony last year.
The team held a party to celebrate Eileen’s milestone birthday
inviting fellow colleagues, her daughter and great grandchildren. Alison
Godwin, Community Services Manager for Sedgemoor community office, said,
“I am so proud to say that we have an 80 year-old Care and Support Worker,
she goes above and beyond for her service users, cycling across Bridgwater in
all weathers to make her visits. Eileen has a vast amount of experience and she
is an asset to the team and Somerset Care.”
